In the summer of 1999, we rented a river boat in the Burgundy region of France with our dear friends Rolf & Bettina Buese and their sons Alex and Adreas; we spent a relaxing, fun week on the Canal de Bourgogne, the Yonne River and the Canal du Nivernais. Right in the middle of the Burgundy and Chablis wine areas. Covered about 100 km (60 miles) and 62 locks. The second week we enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of the Buese family at their home near Lake Constance (Bodensee)
