In April of 2006, I bought a nice penthouse apartment, about 2 km downriver from the rental apartment where I was living at the time (here).

In 2007, I moved from the yellow arrow on the right, to the pink arrow on the left
Smaller than the previous apartment, but still a decent size: 145 m2 (almost 1600 sqft) of living space, and a wrap-around terrace of 117 m2 (1250 sqft). Construction of the building hadn't started yet, so I changed the floor plan quite a bit. The original plan had 5 tiny bedrooms. I made 3 bedrooms out of that, each with a decent size. Also made the kitchen bigger, bumped up the ceiling of the spacious living/dining room, and expanded a shower "closet" to a second bathroom. We moved in early August of 2007.
